“Isapera” [ίσα πέρα] in Greek means “Going forward, straight ahead and beyond.” Inspired by her roots and summers spent on the beach in Greece, Melissa Metaxa, co-founder and designer of Isapera, is reinterpreting the Greek custom of sandal making by utilizing contemporary colors and materials, combined with high couture and classic Greek style. Isapera recently expanded into producing clothing which beautifully showcases and complements this uniquely Mediterranean vision.
